Run a POS Sale

Use POS when a cashier needs to sell products directly to a walk-in customer.

Steps

  1. From the main dashboard, choose Retail.

    After login, start from the dashboard and enter the Retail workspace.
  2. In Sales, choose Open POS.

    The Retail dashboard gives the cashier or manager a quick route into POS and a snapshot of sales activity.
  3. Search, scan, or select a product tile.
  4. Adjust quantity with the plus or minus controls.
  5. Add customer details when needed.
  6. Review the total amount.
  7. Click Pay Now, choose the payment method, and enter the amount received.

    Products marked Available in POS appear as selectable tiles, and the cart updates as quantities change.
  8. Confirm tender method, amount received, and change.

    The payment modal confirms the tender method, amount received, and change before the sale is submitted.
  9. Submit payment and confirm the POS is ready for the next sale.

    After payment completes, the cart clears so the next walk-in sale can begin.
  10. Return to the Retail dashboard and confirm the sales snapshot updates.

Only products marked Available in POS appear in the POS product picker.
